I called someone I haven't seen for over three years. A change in life circumstance and some distance are all that separate us. One of the wonderful fruits of our conversation is that I now know better how to pray for her.

I have to admit, I am not one for making phone calls. It seems as if chaos always breaks out in my house the moment I have the phone to my ear. But, I am going to look for quiet opportunities this week and do this. :)
ReplyDeleteIt can be a challenge to find the quiet space for it, I agree! I almost have to pencil phone calls into my calendar these days. I also usually wait until the children are playing quietly in the afternoon, or while I am making dinner. It's not a fail-proof system of course. Crisis seems to be attracted to the phone being in use. ;-)
